A year ago I lost my Dad to lung cancer, in 2011 I lost my Step-Mom, Sandra, also to lung cancer. Although great strives have been made over the years to reduce the number of deaths resulting from all forms of cancer, the fight against this horrible illness still goes on. A battle I plan to help win.
In memory of Dad and Sandra, as well as additional family members and friends who have lost their battles with cancer or are cancer survivors, on September 27th I’ll be participating in a 5k road race benefiting Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. I’m counting on your donation to help me reach my personal goal. Proceeds from the Seacoast Cancer 5k benefit the Supportive and Wellness Services at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital’s Seacoast Cancer Center, offering patients and their families individualized guidance and support as they cope with cancer diagnoses and treatment. Programs include:

Nutrition
Psychosocial screening
Rehab
Exercise
Support groups
Integrative therapies
