I am MAYA STRONG! At 8 months of age I was diagnosed with adrenal coetical carcinoma. It made my hormones extremely out of eack and I felt terrible all the time. My parents knew something was wrong but I couldn't tell them what. In April my tumor was removed along with my left adrenal and kidney. Good thing I only need one. At three moths I was cancer free but remained on steroids, blood pressure meds and have many appointments in Boston and at home. My distant cousin Connor is also battling Wilms tumors and is in icu at Boston children's. Please help with any donation you can because although the the Seacoast cancer center doesn't care for kids like me they may one day care for my older lover ones. Every penny matters??On September 27th I’ll be participating in a 5k road race benefiting Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. I’m counting on your donation to help me reach my personal goal. Proceeds from the Seacoast Cancer 5k benefit the Supportive and Wellness Services at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital’s Seacoast Cancer Center, offering patients and their families individualized guidance and support as they cope with cancer diagnoses and treatment.
