Hello family and friends,
I'm a proud Navy veteran who has carried memories of deployment long after coming home, I’ve felt the weight of our service members’ sacrifices. Their bravery, and the invisible battles they face next, have inspired me to take action.
This year, Brodie and I will be riding the Valley Veterans Ride for Heroes—40 miles through the Shenandoah Valley—to raise funds and awareness for combat veterans and their families struggling with trauma and stress. We’re not just pedaling; we’re pedaling with purpose.
All net proceeds go directly to Boulder Crest Foundation. Boulder Crest offers life-changing programs—outdoor retreats, counseling, financial coaching and more—that restore confidence, connection, and direction to our nation’s military, first responders, and their loved ones.
Would you consider supporting us? Your tax-deductible gift, no matter the size, will help cover:
Individual and group therapy sessions
Family support retreats in the mountains
Equine-assisted healing programs
Financial education and career-transition coaching
Every share, every dollar, every word of encouragement keeps us rolling and reminds our veterans they’re never alone. If you’d like to follow our training rides, cheer us on at the halfway rest stop, or join future fundraisers, just let me know—I’d love your company and support. With heartfelt thanks,

Valley Veterans Ride for Heroes 2025
Back for 2025 with three beautiful road routes in a rural part of the Shenandoah Valley, the Valley Veterans Ride for Heroes is better than ever.
Rockbridge Vineyard & Brewery, near Raphine, Virginia is our host for this year. It's just off I-81 with easy access from the interstate.
The routes will test your legs and showcase the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley. Our rest stops will offer a chance to meet our local Veterans and learn some history as you rest and recover for the next leg over the rolling hills and countryside.
We ride to support our combat veterans and their families who are dealing with the trauma and stress of their war experiences. All funds raised go to Boulder Crest Foundation, which is committed to improving the physical, emotional, spiritual, and economic wellbeing of our nation's military, veterans, first responders, and their family members. BCF programs ensure they have the opportunity to live lives of passion, purpose, and service at home. All the proceeds from the event support this critical program.
This benefit ride is a fundraiser hosted by the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) to raise money for Boulder Crest Foundation, a therapeutic and wellness center for combat veterans and their families who are dealing with the stresses of their combat experiences. After twenty years of continuous war in Afghanistan and Iraq, our combat veterans, many of whom have deployed multiple times, and their families are paying a terrible price for their service to the nation. Our event supports Boulder Crest Foundation's mission of turning "struggle into strength" and enables combat veterans to attend BCF's posttraumatic growth programs at no cost. Valley Veterans Ride for Heroes is organized by Valley Veterans, Inc., which is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. All donations to Valley Veterans Ride for Heroes are tax deductible.
