For those who have found this link from photographs that I've taken and made available for free from races this season, please consider making a small donation to the cause in leiu of payment. Email me at [email protected] if there are any files that you would like high resoultion copies of. I consider a donation of any value to be a fair trade (as opposed to race photos costing ~$100).
I've chose to join the ERRACE ride because, as a rider who is not a member of Team ERRACE, I have seen first-hand the amazing work that these individuals do. They train and race hard to win and raise money to donate to some fantastic causes. In addition, they're some of the nicest people I've ever met.
I, like most, sadly, have had loved ones fight against cancer, and would like to be able to do my part to give back.
To incentivize others to donate, I'm going to put my legs on the line. If I can meet my fundraising goal of $1500, I'll double the 100 mile ride and aim for 200 miles in a single day (doubling my longest ride to date). In addition, anyone who donates $10 or more will have the option of signing the jersey that I'll wear for the ride with the names of family or friends who have been affected by cancer. I will proudly carry their memories with me throughout the day.
Any donation, no matter how big or small, can have a huge impact.

ERRACE—Everyone Ride/Run Against Cancer Everyday, is a one-day event will held at the Avon Cancer Center on Saturday, July 8, 2017and will include a 25, 50, or 100-mile bike ride, 15 mile mountain bike ride and a 5 run/walk. The beneficiaries are the Hartford Hospital Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center of Avon, and the LiveStrong Foundation.
The ERRACE organization was created by a group of professionals with common goals. Together we strive to raise the awareness of cancer, raise funds for cancer research and to inspire the community to be active and health conscious.
We bring together our expertise from multiple aspects of business management, healthcare, community work, fund-raising and athletic endeavors. We are excited to share a fun, safe and inspiring event with the community for years to come.
